Published to benefit the Tanuda Soldiers' Memorial, the Barossa Cook Book was reprinted many times. Several pages of savory dishes are followed by the majority of the book's recipes, which are for honey cakes, passion fruit cream, melon jam, black devil cake, teddy bears cake, tango trifle, etc. Barossa Valley is of course now known for its beautifully crafted Shiraz wines and vineyards.
